Meet Brandon, our go-to brew master hailing from York, PA, who’s been stirring up magic at Pittsburgh Brewing Company since July 2021. His journey into the world of brewing started in the comfort of his home, brewing up batches while working in the biology department at Dartmouth College. But soon, his hobby turned into a full-blown passion, leading him to kickstart his professional brewing career in 2006 as a Lab Technician at Long Trail Brewing in Vermont.
Alex Gonzalez
Meet Alex Gonzalez, our incredible Plant Manager! Alex holds a unique place in our brewery’s history. He was the last employee at Pittsburgh Glass Works (PPG), where our brewery now stands, working there from 2011 until the plant closed in October 2019.
When the transformation from PPG to Pittsburgh Brewing began in the summer of 2020, Alex was the first to come on board, joining us in October 2020. Witnessing and contributing to the construction of our new facility was an amazing experience for him.
With a background in electrical engineering, Alex brings expertise and enthusiasm to his role. In his free time, he loves to travel, hang out with family and friends, and attend concerts and sporting events. And, of course, Iron City is his beer of choice.
Rosella Donaldson
Rosella is a proud alumna of Point Park University and a fervent supporter of Pittsburgh sports. Her favorite way to enjoy a Pittsburgh sporting event is, of course, with an IC Light in hand. Whether she’s leading a brewery tour or sharing her favorite Pittsburgh Brewing Company stories, Rosella’s enthusiasm for our brand and her role enriches our team and the experiences of everyone she meets.
Kyle Wright
Meet Kyle Wright, better known as Blue, who’s been rocking with us since May 2022! With 17 years in production and a decade as a filler operator, Blue knows his stuff. His favorite perk is serving private groups a cold beer straight off the line. When he’s not at work, you’ll find him hitting the gym. Cheers to Blue for keeping our operations smooth and our beers flowing!
